With the Steadfast, Gerber re-introduces a classic fixed blade knife from their past. The textured handle features finger grooves and a stainless steel guard for a safe and secure grip. The blade is a stainless steel clip point; nylon sheath with protective insert included.

  Great blade shape, strong to the tip and very sharp out of the box. Handle material is very grippy and the build seems to be quite good. Gerber used some sort of lock-tite type material so the pommel screw stays tight under use. Love the ergonomics of the handle. Kudos to Gerber on this one. Would like to see it in 440c also. (Sheath has a "lefty snap.") Great knife for the price.

  Like the knife. The strap on the replacement scabbard does go around the hilt of the knife, but just bareley. The strap needs to be longer.

Steadfast solid
  This is a good and sharp knife. If you're looking for a hefty, solid knife then this is one to give some serious thought on. A+++
