The mid-sized member of Gerbers Paraframe family is the Paraframe I. Like the other members of this family, the 3" clip-point blade is forged from high-grade surgical stainless steel. The blade on this folding knife is available in serrated or fine edge. The uniquely designed handle is cut from 314 grade stainless steel. Its ergonomic design makes it lightweight, and the stainless steel makes it strong. Looks like you get the best of both worlds.

  Best everyday pocket knife ever. The blade holds it's edge, it's easy to sharpen, the slim grip is nice, the skeleton frame makes it light, and the styling is wicked.

  I found the edge to be superior to the previous Gerber I owned. Seems to hold its edge better. Quite a bit lighter too. Haven't had it long enough to determine lifetime durability but so far it seems capable.

  Knife takes a good sharp edge but keep it away from saltwater. After a day in my pocket wade fishing the cutting edge had pitted and looked like a saw blade. I'm really going to have to grind away a lot of steel to get back to a smooth sharp blade again.
