The mid-sized member of Gerbers Paraframe family is the Paraframe I. Like the other members of this family, the 3" clip-point blade is forged from high-grade surgical stainless steel. The blade on this folding knife is available in serrated or fine edge. The uniquely designed handle is cut from 314 grade stainless steel. Its ergonomic design makes it lightweight, and the stainless steel makes it strong. Looks like you get the best of both worlds.

Great Knife
  This is my first Paraframe with combo edge. I carry a Paraframe everyday. It holds an edge well and sharpens easily. Great size and weight.

  This my second para frame I I lost the first one I am going to buy a backup so I am not with out a gerber

Great Knife
  I love this knife! Its frame is very strong and has a good look to it for bonus. I have yet to sharpen it over this last year of moderate use and it is still very sharp. Like most Gerber knifes I am not disappointed. Worth 20$!

disappointed
  unfortunately, the TWO attempts at buying a replacement for the knife I'd lost ended in their shipping the wrong size and model the first time, and eith the second, the serrated cuts on the combo blade are barely cut out, not cut deeply enough

  Great knife with steel that holds its sharpness, but can be sharpened. I had two Rangers before and loved them. I lost both of them and their price tag hurt. The paraframe is a good price and hangs light in the pocket. I'm going to buy another in the event I lose this one.
