The mid-sized member of Gerbers Paraframe family is the Paraframe I. Like the other members of this family, the 3" clip-point blade is forged from high-grade surgical stainless steel. The blade on this folding knife is available in serrated or fine edge. The uniquely designed handle is cut from 314 grade stainless steel. Its ergonomic design makes it lightweight, and the stainless steel makes it strong. Looks like you get the best of both worlds.

  This is my third Paraframe 1. I have lost two of them and I can't be without one. I Carry it everyday and love the size and weight. Holds an edge well and sharpens easily. Very good all purpose knife.

  This is the handiest knife I have ever owned,it's also the third one i've bought,I lost the last two. And if I lose this one i'll buy another one! It's a great tool!!

Best daily use knife ever!
  This has been the best daily-use knife I've ever had. It sits inside my belt clipped on my trouser waist band and is more or less invisible. It's easily accessible and carries out a multitude of routine tasks, from peeling an apple to opening letters or packages, as well as on remote field trips where it supplements other knives. It holds a good edge. I lost it the other day so I'm here shopping for a new one to replace it.

  Can't go wrong with a Gerber...All their products are of excellent quality, but this is a knfe that is in my pocket every day. It's blade size is perfect. This knife will last for years.
