received from the men and women in uniform, Gerber toughened up their
Multi-Plier 600
s by adding their patented replaceable tungsten carbide wire cutters to this already popular tool. When the cutters become dull or misshapen simply rotate the tungsten carbide cutters 120-degrees, and you've got yourself a good-as-new wire cutter. After three rotations, the entire cutter can be replaced.

I was issued a Gerber while in the Marine Corps and used it quite a bit but I ended up losing it a year or two ago. I decided to get a new one and found this one. I have to say it is better than the one I had. I would buy it agian for sure.

Too Bad
Would like to be able to write a review onm this good looking tool. However the supplier I purchased the tool from shipped me the wrong item. Now, a month later, I still don't know how nice it would be to have this tool.

1 bad one in everything
In 2007 I was trying to cut some cheap wire and BROKE one of the carbide bits in half. After looking everywhere locally and not finding replacement bits I ended up giving it away. Now here it is 2012 and I'm thinking about giving it another shot. Hopefully this time I have no problems.

this product is a very good knife. i like the changeable cutters on it my old knife didnt have them and they got dull and couldnt change them out.

Outstanding tool that i use to cut network cable with taking computers apart with. Very robust tool the only thing is that the needle nose pliers need a little oil application out of the box so that they slide out better. Couldn't have asked for a better tool to use on a day to day basis

These Gerber multi-pliers are perfect for what everjob you need to do on a daily basis. The quality alone is worth the small amount you will spend to get several tools that you will use constantly. I can't say enough about the rugged construction, and the look and feel of this paticular tool. It is my favorite already. It is well worth the money.

I purchased one approximately 20 years ago. It was the old style that did not have the carbide cutters or blade locks. Just last year my 15 year old son borrowed it from me and returned it with a broken can opener. Much to my surprise Gerber honered their garentee and after shipping it,they sent me a new multi tool and also the old one back. My son now has the old one. This is by far the greatest multi tool I have owned. Keep up the great work Gerber you have a customer for life.

The only thing needed to make this perfect is a web / seat belt cutting blade. Very close to being a perfect tool for fire & rescue.
