The Gerber L.S.T. Ultralight is the smoothest of operators. They were the first knives to combine a lightweight handle with premium quality high carbon stainless steel components. The handles on the L.S.T. pocket knives are made of fiberglass filled nylon, Zytel, and are nearly indestructible. All components are made from the same high quality steel as Gerber's other folding knives, and they are backed by the same limited lifetime warranty.

  my son bought it for me as a mother's day present 13yrs ago.i thought i lost it,and didn't tell him.so i bought a replacement one,needless to say i found my orignal one the same day the replacement showed up,so i gave it to my husband.he and i both love the knives,mines the smaller verison,but they are excellent.well worth the money,i recommend them to everyone. kim

  This is my third purchase. One I believe "walked" away with someone so I bought a second one. Thought I lost that one. So I bought a third. The quality is that good and the size makes it an ideal tool. Now I have two and the other one is put up---just in case. That's how much I like this knife.

  This knife is the smaller of the 2 Gerber knives that I have. The one I really prefer is the next size larger(which is my other knife). This one smaller size is handy for small pockets and coats. My larger one I carry at all times and is my 3rd one. The first I wore out through working and the second one was stolen at the health spa. Both are excellent!

  Had a gerber just like this for 17 years - lived on my keychain. Just time to replace it. Was pretty beat up. Expect the replacement one to last another 17 years! Perfect for the keychain. LOVE the knife!

Life-long knife carrier
  I lost my beloved Gerber stainless steel blade incased in a satin stainless case. This comes very close -- lightweight, no frills, good blade long enough to do the work I need and doesn't take up a lot of space in my pocket. Not fancy looking, but very serviceable.

  The knife replaced one exactly like it I had to surrender at DFW airport. It is a perfect knife for my uses. Would recommend it as a great pocket knife. Gerber is the best product on the market and I hope it's made in the USA.

  Gerber used to offer a pocket knife which was even smaller and lighter than this one -- I adored that knife and bought lots of them for myself and as an ideal gift for good friends. This knife is excellent but not as good as the even smaller and lighter version which they must have discontinued. I wish they would bring the smaller one back, for it was perfect.
