My father loves this knife
  It is a very good quality knife. My father is a dairy farmer and uses his knife for everything. The last one he had lasted him many years, and I expect the same from this one. Its a good value also :)

  The knife was purchased as a gift for my husband after he lost his previous knife. He is very happy with the quality and the "made in USA". The only negative about the knife is the case seems overly tight.

  The Gerber Gator has been my go to choice for an all-around utility knife for the past 30 years. It outperforms any other knife in the same class at two or even three times the cost. I use a Cold Steel fixed blade to gut big game, and carry the Gator as my back-up. It is the go-to blade in any situation.
