The Gerber Exchange-A-Blade pocket knives use contractor grade or standard size utility blades that can be easily replaced. The E.A.B. Lite also features deep finger groves that provide a secure grip in a lighter knife. Both the E.A.B. Lite and the original E.A.B. sport stainless steel handles that also double as a pocket or money clip.

Caution!!!
  I found this knife to be perfect for most jobs. One word of CAUTION... it is very important to make sure the blade being replaced is the same EXACT same size. After a few uses I replaced the blade with a regular utility blade as descried. Problem with this knife is after changing blades and trying several different blades from Home Depot and Lowes. This knife left me wishing it was designed differently after slicing the side of my hand open. The knife was securely clipped on my pocket in the closed position when this occurred. I as most people don't inspect utility blades for length...that being said. The blade was set to the farthest inward notch and in the closed position the blade protruded out the end of the knife. This knife is unsafe and should be recalled.

BAD CLIP!!!!
  I absolutely love the small knife but the stupid clip keeps falling off and it finally broke :( gotta get a new one!! now or a replacement haha

  Don't lay it down! It will grow legs and be gone. I have a hook blade in mine, and it will cut about anything a sensible person would cut with a knife. The clip will pop off at times if pushed sideways, but pops back on. Not a real problem.

  Great knife easy to carry does not fill your pocket and performs great, easy blade change. Blade does not come loose or come out. use it in my business as a contractor, bought 5 to only problem is everyone wants it and so you have to keep you eye on it......
