 Description
The Gator Brush Thinner's dramatically shaped carbon steel blade is set in a sturdy, newly redeisgned, easier to grip handle with gator over-mold. It's perfect for clearing out brush and limbs from tree stands and stream settings. A non-stick coating on the blade reduces friction. The contoured sheath contains a polyethylene board to protect the user and the blade, a five coil zipper and Velcro retention strap.

Great gift
  I bought this for my father-in-law for Christmas. He loved it and it works very well. He owns 200 acres that we use for hunting and we do a lot of brush clearing during the off season. Fairly sharp upon arrival, but he put a better edge on it. Highly recommended.

  I had one of these once before and left it in what I thought was a secure place, one of my tree stands, but someone who was no doubt tresspassing took it. I keep about 2&1/2 miles of trails cleared for my walking and the deer seem to get used to them also. This is about the best tool I've used, in tight spots. I have one of another brand but the handle/grip on the Gerber is far superior, especially if it's warm and I'm sweating. I have 9 Gerber products. They're all great and very affordable.

  Ordering it off the screen, and looking at the price, you have no idea how big and heavy this TOOL is, and no matter how good this item looks it is a tool.We cut alot of brush around storm water management ponds by hand.They are often off the beaten path.The sheath comes in handy in these situations and you want to talk engineering and manufacturing both items need to be seen to understand my first comment on price.This is an absolute steal.
