The Gerber Applegate-Fairbairn Covert F.A.S.T. assisted opening knife combines the classic Applegate-Fairbairn design with the ease and speed of F.A.S.T. technology. It delivers one-hand opening for quick deployment of the titanium-coated blade and the full-sized G-10 handles give you a tacky, sturdy grip.

The Gerber Applegate F.A.S.T. series combines the ease of spring-assisted opening with uncommon durability and balance. Strength comes from high carbon surgical stainless steel blades and textured glass-filled nylon handles, which are reinforced with a stainless steel inner frame. Great Tactical Knife
  I am a big fan of Gerber Knives going back to when I carried a Gerber Mark I in the paratroopers. This is a great one handed knife. Has kept an edge and is easy to handle. Fits into my hand.

Senior Maintenance Tech
  Been salivating over thid knife for quite some time. Now that I have one it's even better than I had imagined. It feels terriffic in my hand, and sits unnoticed in my back pocket. The confidence inspiring security of the belt clips amzing grip means you don't have to worry about whether or not it's still where you put it, even when you have to wriggle ito close confened spaces to get the job done. It may be a tactical, but it's sure proving it's very practical to me!!!

Great Value
  The Covert F.A.S.T. is a great value for the money. The spring assist works smoothly with just the right amount of force to open the blade quickly without making the knife want to jump from your hand. There are two things I would change about this design: first, add more options for the clip mount, Secondly, a thicker blade. This is one of the best value knives on the market at a crazy affordable price.

  I am very pleased with the recent purchase of the applegate Covert F.A.S.T. As depictedlds it has very smooth one hand operational assited opening. Very nice texture alloy grip for a sure grip even with wet hands.The blade holds a nice edge. I am very happy with the purchase and would highly reccomedn it for the price.
